In this role you will be part of PSA team that owns the operational requirements for all WPP Waves within the program,  WPP businesses and operate as a champion for the solution with operational stakeholders. You will actively engage with and build a highly productive and trusted working relationship with your SI counterpart to co-develop the Workday PSA functional design and drive subsequent downstream activities; configuration, testing, and business acceptance in all PSA modules i.e Projects/Project Billing/Customer Contracts/Customer Accounts/Banking/Reporting for PSA.

You will be working closely with the Centre of Excellence Manager and other Workday Team Leads in implementing the IT vision and strategy. You will provide your expertise on Workday PSA and bring your skills to establish world class approaches to process modelling and process re-engineering. This role supports a range of other key activities such as training, change management, and business readiness throughout delivery.

WPP IT will consider both permanent and contract applicants for this position.  Role can also be flexible across a number of EMEA locations..  If we have an operating company in your location then we can consider your application.

What you'll be doing:

• Support/Lead the design, development and implementation of all PSA modules as Projects/Project Billing/Customer Contracts/Customer Accounts/Banking/Reporting for PSA.
• Support the solution design for PSA function in all PSA modules as Projects/Project Billing/Customer Contracts/Customer Accounts/Banking/Reporting for PSA.
• Support SI counterpart and WPP E2E Architect to develop the functional solution for the Finance & PSA function and ensure cross-workstream alignment
• Facilitate and participate in design workshops, ensuring the necessary WPP SMEs are engaged in the design process. Own the resolution of open design issues
• Represent WPP specific requirements in design workshops (e.g., unique operating procedures, legal & SOX practices)
• Develop and populate Configuration Workbook for Finance & PSA function with support from SI counterpart. Review other functional materials and deliverables (e.g., Design Blueprints)
• Support the Technical Team to determine integration requirements and review associated integration specifications
• Maintain Configuration Workbook throughout the Config. & Prototype phase, including communicating updates across workstreams
• Attend prototype playback sessions and provide timely feedback in accordance with project timelines
• Support WPP Data team to support source-to-target mappings and executions of data conversions (e.g. entity / cost centre alignment)
• Engage with WPP businesses and the WPP Test team to support execution of testing for all test phases
• Support development of test scenarios and other supporting test assets (e.g., crib sheets)
• Execute test scenarios throughout E2E Test (including Data Validation) and work with businesses and WPP Test team to support defect resolution
• Ability to consult, capture and analyze requirements from both business and technical stakeholders
• Experience defining and documenting high-level business requirements of process flows across multiple supporting systems
• Ability to translate complex concepts into easily-to-digest deliverables including text-based documents and visual presentations/diagrams
• Solution oriented mindset to identify where improvements can be made to existing business challenges
• Excellent communicator with ability to tailor style depending on audience
• Experience collaborating across business, project and 3rd party technical consultants assigned to the project

What you'll need:

• Excellent global implementation experience with Workday Financials/PSA
• Substantial practical experience gained on Workday Financials/PSA implementation projects
• Experience with hands-on design, administration and implementation of Workday PSA in a number of PSA modules; Projects/Project Billing/Customer Contracts/Customer Accounts/Banking/Reporting for PSA, including end-to-end greenfield implementations
• In depth knowledge of Workday system lifecycle
• You are exceptional at communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels, in different shapes depending on the context
• Very strong communicator capable of engaging and influencing leaders
