Material Handler- New Facility!

A little bit about who we are:
WPT Nonwovens Corp has opened our third facility in Beaver Dam, KY! This recent expansion is a state of the art high speed automated manufacturing facility!

WPT is your one stop source for American made nonwoven fabric serving global markets such as medical, hygiene, and filtration products to name a few. We can also customize products from just an idea our customer has to commercial launch!

That’s a fancy way of saying it, so you are probably asking what type of products do we actually make? You see them everyday in products like diapers, air filters and wound dressings.

In this role you will be working on a technologically advanced high speed manufacturing line supporting our technicians to get an awesome product out the door to satisfy our customers needs!

Stage finished good consistent with WPT standards

o Wrap finished product as needed

o Verify labeling

o Stack and palletize finished goods as needed

Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse and production floor

o Empty gaylords of scrap material

o Remove bales of recycled material

o Sweep and remove trash

Ability to meet company policy for attendance and work schedule requirements.

· Minimum age 18 years

· One year forklift experience preferred

· Attention to detail

· Basic Math and computer skills

· Ability to read, write and interpret and comprehend documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, schematics, technical documents and safety rules

· Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.

Routinely Lifting, pushing, and pulling 30 lbs and over

Standing for long periods, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Ability to lift up to 30lbs routinely and lift up to to 50 lbs occasionally.

Ability to stand, to walk, to perceive distance and to distinguish color.

Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.

Work in an environment with moderate noise level, wet or high humidity conditions, excessive heat, extreme cold and vibration, exposure to airborne particles and moving parts.
