About The Role

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee fit out of new showrooms.
  • Manage the construction and refurbishment of the showrooms.
  • Ensuring that the building is surveyed for any structural issues and gathering the correct measurements of the facility.
  • Liaising with relevant parties for a smooth approval of permits.
  • Review and respond to submittals.
  • Agree interim payments with the GC.
  • Liaise and organise nominated vendors.
  • Regular communication with architects.
  • Must be permanently on site.

About You

  • Previous experience of construction management is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel to new showrooms opening around the North East of America
  • Ability to effectively organise and prioritise workload
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and AIA contracts
