Service Writer/Advisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and acting as a liaison between customers and our automotive service technicians. Your primary goal will be to ensure that customers receive quality service and have a positive experience at our location.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and listen to their concerns or requests
- Transmit customer information to the appropriate automotive service technicians
- Provide accurate estimates for automotive repairs and services
- Schedule appointments and manage the service bay workflow
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicle repairs
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate automotive services based on their needs
- Coordinate with parts department to ensure timely delivery of required parts
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, repairs, and services performed

Experience:
- Previous experience in automotive sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with auto body repair, brake repair, shocks/struts, alignment, and other common automotive services
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships with customers
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week

Day range:

• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
