What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker position at Wright Media?
CLS is looking for and Warehouse associate for our Belle Chase, La location. This is a temp to hire position.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Pulls, fabricates and assembles any items for work orders and transfers.
- Oversees and maintains all stock inventory for warehouse daily.
- Maneuvers heavy materials with the use of fork lift, pallet and hand truck as required.
- Packages and tags items for pickup or delivery.
- Maintains tools, gauges and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
- Maintains and ensures all machines are functioning according to established work standards.
- Responsible for a one week, seven day and twenty four hour call rotation.
- Attends general sales, safety and training meetings.
- Attends warehouse and training meetings.
- Unloads shipping trucks as required.
- Assists shipping area with package procedures as requested.
- Reports any concerns or discrepancies.
- Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.

- Hose cutting machine

Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid driver's license - must meet insurance underwriting requirements
