Role Overview
The Warehouse/Inventory Associate III is responsible for providing operational support to production by overseeing inventory management for materials in the warehouse for CrewBoss. This position reports to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accuracy of warehouse and production inventory to company goals of less than 2% absolute variance annually.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies into the warehouse, records location of inventory.
- Oversees, schedules, and performs the cycle counting process for A, B, and C materials to ensure all items are cycle counted quarterly.
- Oversees and completes as necessary the receiving of inbound materials and accurately and timely dispositions to orders or inventory location.
- Identifies and implements process improvements to reduce and eliminate inventory discrepancies.
- Oversees timely shipments of outbound shipments.
- Prepare all necessary international shipping documentation correctly and on time.
- Prepare any hazardous material shipments according to regulations to ensure compliance.
- Updates ERP System timely for all inventory transactions.
- Ensures product is stored, picked, and staged at a rapid pace.
- Maintains housekeeping, and cleanliness of warehouse and shipping area.
- Assists in preparing finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing product.
- Performs Root Cause Analysis for inventory discrepancies through review of CrewBoss Finished Goods Warehouse, CrewBoss Raw Materials Warehouse, Product Output, Product Input, and Staging areas.
- Physically counts inventory items to verify accuracy on a regular basis.
- Investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies in computation or count.
- Participates in team meetings to improve process flow and increase throughput.
- Participates as a key contributor to the monthly safety walks and responsible for addressing safety concerns in their area of responsibility.
- Works closely with customer service and sales to ensure customer needs are met on a timely basis.
- Return all tools and equipment to their designated spot after each use.
- Regularly inspect, clean equipment, notify supervisor and/or facilities maintenance immediately of machines or equipment needing repair or maintenance, and take any damaged or worn tools out of service.
- Maintain quality and safety control standards.
- Responsible for coordinating proper training when onboarding new employees.
- Notify the supervisor of any attendance and/or performance concerns.
- Motivates team members and leads by example.
- Assign tasks to team members if necessary and give clear specific directions and procedures to follow.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/ move up to 50 pounds of material without assistance. Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance from others.
- Ability to bend and stand for long periods of time
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
- Ability to operate equipment including: LPG Forklift, Standing Forklift, Pallet Jack, Banding Equipment and Office Equipment such as computer, scanner, phone, fax, and copy machine
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse experience required
- Previous forklift experience required
- Experience with inventory software required
