The Quality Control Specialist will act as the gatekeeper to ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the Consumer loan processes
The incumbent is responsible for performing pre-closing review of all new loans for accuracy and completeness and identifying any errors and / or missing items before customer closing
Job Responsibilities : Review all assigned workspaces for accuracy to ensure no errors are present
Including Loan Packages, HMDA & CRA
Accuracy & Efficiency; Early Disclosure review HELOC / HEIL; Approval Letter and Coversheet; Closing Disclosure review
Communicate extensively with the Consumer Loan Specialist, Consumer Loan Underwriting, WSFS Mortgage and Private Banking teams
Tier I review of third party lending documentation
Minimum Requirements : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required
Must have 1-2 years of experience in Consumer Loan processing, document preparation or review
Must be able to work in a fast pace, high volume loan department
Must demonstrate great attention to detail, and the ability to manage all deadlines and priorities effectively
Must be proficient in using MS Office products
Must have the ability to demonstrate assertiveness and the ability to work with and communicate positively, professionally and as a subject matter expert with Underwriters, Array, and the loan specialist
