WSFS Bank is currently seeking Seasonal Tellers for the 2023 Summer season. The Seasonal Teller will be responsible for providing customer service to our customers, handling cash and coin, and processing customers' transactions in a friendly, accurate, and timely manner. The Summer Teller will comply with Bank policies and procedures, as well as regulatory banking requirements.
This position will support a banking office in Sussex County, Delaware. Some Teller positions are “floating” positions that require individuals to travel to/from various Banking Offices in an assigned region. If you are hired into a Floating Summer Teller position, you will be paid a $200 monthly travel stipend in addition to your hourly rate in this position.
This is a full-time 40-hour/week position with a flexible rotating weekly schedule with 2-3 Saturdays per month being required. This schedule can change at any time based upon business needs. The hired candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without an employer-sponsored petition for a visa, such as an H-1B visa. WSFS Bank does not intend to file any visa applications in connection with this opening.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous cash handling experience is required.
- Must have prior face-to-face customer service experience.
- Must have proven ability to work with customers in an enthusiastic manner.
- Must understand and be able to travel to a variety of Bank Office locations.
- Must be able to work from May/June through August/September.
- Must have basic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office and banking software.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be available for virtual/in-person interviews and training.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
