WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full Time Business Analyst for our Washington, DC office. The following locations will also be considered: Baltimore, MD and New York City.

Your Impact
- Provide guidance with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, blueprints, spreadsheets, financial documents, federal legislation, grant requirements, and other matrices for project development, design, consultation, and construction.
- Apply high-level management consulting and client advisement to identify improvements for various infrastructure project phases including concept development, preliminary design, final design, procurement, construction, and operation.
- You will lead and deliver business process and data preparation activities associated with EAM System implementations and improvements for some of the largest, iconic infrastructure owners and operators in the United States.
- The work you will do will directly impact the success of EAM Systems implementations that our Clients undertake and deliver sustained improvements to maintenance and capital asset management processes in line with ISO55001 requirements and recognized best practices.
To do this, you will:
- Work within our EAM Program delivery teams providing data standards development, data preparation, and business process analysis support
- Work collaboratively within a team leveraging your experience and understanding of asset management systems and related technologies, and knowledge of best-in-class, ISO55001 compliant asset management process and data frameworks
- Work with our clients to establish data standards, data governance, and business process improvements
- Use state-of-the-art data governance tools and business process mapping and analysis standards.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- In recognition of the full strategic suite of services offered by Advisory Services, the following degree requirements apply:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Data Sciences, Business, Economics, Finance, Urban or Transportation Planning, Environmental Studies, Liberal Arts, Public Policy, Operations Research, or closely related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant post education experience in discipline and in a management consulting or client advisory capacity.
- Proficient with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including active involvement in a variety of rehabilitation and new design projects.
- Extensive knowledge of management consulting and ability to coordinate with clients, agency regulators and understand requirements.
- A good understanding of infrastructure, equipment maintenance and management, ISO5500x Standards as they are applied in practice
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to facilitate business process mapping work sessions to establish process improvements required to improve maintenance management and asset management processes and procedures
- An understanding of the use and structure of Enterprise Asset Management Systems – including Maximo, Infor, and other systems, and EAM Systems implementation
- Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional IQ
- Strong team player who can get things done
- An ability to share knowledge formally and informally
- Demonstrated effectiveness at coordinating and assertively directing subcontractors and others to consistently complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
- Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in consulting or a comparable role within a Client’s business
- Management Consulting and advisory experience
- Lean 6 Sigma, Change Management
