What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solderer position at WSS?
We are hiring a Solderer in Roanoke, VA!
Pay: $18-$20/hr
Responsibilities: Perform hand soldering operation assembling components to printed circuit boards. Perform touch up operations. Must meet customer and electronic standards for soldering.
Requirements:
- Must have soldering experience associated with components and/or printed circuit boards
- Ability to work under magnifier or scope
- Detail oriented
- Ability to read and understand drawings/written instructions/routers
- Mechanically inclined
- Committed to quality workmanship
- Preferred but not required: Solder certification
- Familiarity with IPC Standards and/or military standards
- Electronics background
Other: The soldering position will be working with small components and/or wiring on a printed circuit board and thus requires working most of the time under a scope. There is various equipment that runs in the work area so it is not a completely quiet nor isolated area to work in. Person will need to be able to focus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
