GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Responsible for tax issues of the group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide tax reports on time for group tax consolidation
2. Calculate and prepare quarterly tax estimates and reports
3. Collaborate with the accounting team in multiple jurisdictions on tax issues
4. Identify tax issues and assess tax implications for business and operations worldwide
5. Ensure tax compliance in various countries
6. Provide tax analysis and recommendations for global setup and restructuring
7. Work with tax consultants on various tax issues
8. Optimize tax position from Group perspective
9. Work with group tax department as required
10. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. 3 years of experiences in international tax (CPA firm or multinational company)
2. Thorough knowledge of corporate tax issues within an international taxation environment, e.g. planning, research, compliance.
3. Experience with permanent establishment in various countries
4. Solid understanding of US tax returns including international tax rules (e.g. GILTI, FDII, BEAT) and foreign tax credits.
5. Good understanding of OECD tax agreement ( e.g. BEPS, anti-fragmentation)
6. Willingness to research and learn new tax regulations in various countries
7. Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing
8. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent degree
