SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for generating revenue utilizing a consultative selling approach. Heavy proactive outbound and inbound phone calling to prospect and close accounts while up-selling and cross-selling new products to achieve sales goals. Ensures to offer added value with every interaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and establish contact with existing customers proactively through outbound and inbound phone calls.
- Match Wurth Louis and Company’s products with customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing and competition; effectively communicating pricing and service strategies; referring internally as appropriate.
- Develop sales strategies to drive growth in assigned area.
- Effectively manage prospects by maintaining contact with new and existing customers to advertise the product sales and maintaining key information in the CRM database.
- Ensure effective internal communication between inside and outside sales across the organization.
- Assist to identify the opportunities for upcoming products, and for development and enhancement of existing products.
- Meet or exceed monthly/annual sales/growth targets.
- Respond to customers, quotation requests, needs, inquiries, and complaints/concerns.
- Administrative processing of customer orders (quotations and order entry).
- Generation and communication of sales leads through focused pro-active marketing efforts, primarily out calling or up-selling.
- Understanding the goals and concepts of the business and incorporating business goals to achieve sales and profitability.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.

- Maintain databases per company and regulatory guidelines.
- Closing sales and working with client through closing process.
- Follow specific laws and guidelines dealing with Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and any other Company policy or procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:
Six months or more of a sales role with proven success. Sales regulatory knowledge to include TCPA awareness. Ability to demonstrate problem solving and negotiating skills. Ability to work with all levels of staff within various departments. Ability to work in a team environment. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. SAP knowledge preferred. Excellent communication, organization, and sales skills required, PC skills preferred. Spanish speaker preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
High school or GED certificate required. College degree preferred. A medium degree of familiarity with standard business concepts is required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee would be required to answer phones, type on a computer, 10-key, filing and other general clerical duties. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
