Wusong Road, named one of the top 20 Tiki Bars, one of Boston's top bars and one of Eater’s 38 Essential restaurant, is Cambridge’s local tropical escape on Mt. Auburn street in Harvard Square.

We are hidden away within the beautifully restored historic 100 year old Conductor’s Building--the first elevated train station in the USA. With just over 8,000 ft2, 145 seats, two full bars spread across two floors and a top-of-the-line kitchen suite, Wusong Road is an escape from the bustling city street outside.

Our menu is Asian fusion created by Chef Jason Doo (Fairmont Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels, Menton, Woods Hill Table) where everything from dumplings to hand pulled noodles are made from scratch. Our front of house hospitality team led by John Shin (Aureole NYC, Tasting Counter, MIDA Boston) guides guests through our classical Tiki menu and modern rifts while providing a high level of hospitality in a casual setting.

We are seeking a hospitality driven servers who are hands on and have a strong attention to detail. The server should be able to pick up on guest social cues and provide a seamless level of service in a fun and fast paced environment. The server should (or be willing to learn about) have a strong knowledge of liquor (rum being a plus), Tiki & Tiki culture and the preparation of mixed drinks.

We also ask the Bartender be comfortable enforcing rigorous health and sanitation standards, the freshness of the fruit and juices, overall cleanliness of the bars and bar preparation areas (rotating fresh fruits, label and dating juices and mixes, etc.). Our bartenders ALSO must be willing to serve tables as we do have bar high top tables.

When working with Bar Apprentices the Bartender will also need to fulfill a leadership role, delegating tasks with a focus always on guest service and satisfaction.
