What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative - Legal Services position at WVU Medicine?
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for answering telephone calls from patients to resolve patient liability by adhering to all applicable statutes and the collection policies and procedures of WVUHS. Demonstrates the ability to assertively pursue necessary information and to secure financial resolution on accounts. Utilizes excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
1. One (1) year experience in a healthcare or collections setting.
2. One (1) year previous customer service experience answering telephone calls.
