What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cybersecurity SME position at WWC Global?
WWC Global is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Cybersecurity to support a DHS customer.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Providing research, risk management, and cyber-physical security analytic support services to the government in an effort to reducing risks posed by small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) to critical infrastructure
- Supporting the development of UAS incident reporting criteria, establishing and maintaining a critical infrastructure UAS incident repository and conducting local, regional, sector and national-level incident trend analysis. The Contract shall also develop pre-incident indicators and/or industry alerts based on analysis findings
- Developing guidance and conducting training to enhance SLTT and critical infrastructure capacity to manage UAS cybersecurity and physical risk. Guidance and training will include, but is not limited to, use of detection-only and C-UAS technology, requesting FAA flight restrictions, employment of non-technical C-UAS methods, identification of suspicious and pre-operational UAS activity, implementing render safe and chain of custody guidance, reporting UAS incidents, understanding and applying legal and regulatory UAS information, and mitigating UAS enabled cyber-attacks on connected systems.
- Developing guidance and conducting training on developing and maintaining cyber-secure UAS fleets and C-UAS capabilities.
- Advising on the development and application of sUAS vulnerability assessments and UAS cyber and physical risk analysis for critical infrastructure.
- Developing a process to collect and report meaningful feedback to inform future iterations or assessment tools and resources.
- Developing and implementing processes to identify capability requirements, gaps, priorities, and solutions for UAS cybersecurity and C-UAS capabilities.
Contingent on contract award.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
- Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.
