We are looking for an HR Business Partner in Clackamas, Oregon who embraces the Wyld culture.
Summary
The HR Business Partner position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management for our operations in Oregon. They provide expert advice and counsel to leaders, managers and employees with regard to all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, and end of employment activities. This position works closely with all members of the HR team to support generalist functions such as onboarding, compliance, compensation, benefits, policies and procedures and recordkeeping.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day direction and guidance for HR programs, policies, procedures, and plans across all HR disciplines such as recruitment, selection, retention, legal compliance, compensation, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, benefits, and employment practices and procedures
- Identifying training needs and developing/coordinating training for employees on various topics including management, compliance, and cultural training
- Partnering with employees and managers to communicate various company policies, procedures, programs, laws, standards, and government regulations
- Working closely with Talent Acquisition team to maintain a relevant and meaningful onboarding process while constantly working to improve processes to ensure onboarding activities are aligned with brand culture
- Working closely with the Payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payment of wages
- Working with the appropriate department manager to effectively process and complete employee terminations
- Have experience processing the correct paperwork and tracking of CFRA/FMLA leaves
- Participate in our safety team meetings and safety efforts
- Ensuring all HR files are accurate, up to date, complete and accessible to the appropriate personnel
- Always working to ensure that employees have a safe and positive environment to succeed in and that the Wyld culture is maintained
Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or a related area is preferred
- 3-5 years of HR management experience
- 1 year of recruiting experience is a definite plus
- PHR designation is highly preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain an Oregon Liquor Control Commission (“OLCC”) marijuana worker permit (required)
- A passion for working a new and exciting industry for a dynamic and energetic company
- Must demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion
