Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Specialist to join our team. As a Resident Care Specialist, you will provide direct care and support to individuals in our assisted living and memory care community. Your role will involve assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring vital signs, and implementing behavior management strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to residents.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs of residents as needed or directed by LPN
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and manage challenging behaviors
- Assist with meals to and from the dining area and queing of residents in the memory care unit.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents and staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure the overall well-being of residents

Experience:
- Previous experience in senior care or direct support is preferred
- Knowledge of working with individuals in an assisted living community helpful but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques is desirable for our memory care unit.
- Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
