The Financial Planning & Analysis Department is responsible for analyzing any and all facets of business affiliated with Wynn Resorts, Ltd.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for producing reports based on numerous data points which will enable Sr. Management to make more informed business decisions and provide analysis summaries and recommendations based on findings. Assist in the research and analysis of casino/hotel related special events. Will participate with the SVP & CFO, VP of FP&A and Operational departments to develop operational and capital budgets.
- Assist the SVP & CFO and VP of FP&A in the development of the operational and capital budgets, monthly financial analysis and adhoc analyses for operations departments.
- Provide analyses for all divisions (Casino, Hotel, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Other Income, Advertising and G&A).
Provide statistical and analytical support in the development, implementation and evaluation of all operations departments programs. - Prepare various weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual projects for operations departments.
- Establish a database of relevant financial information for use in projections and forecasts.
- Provide return on investment (ROI) analysis for any new investment project.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent gaming/hotel industry experience.
- At least (2) two years finance or related experience, with gaming and hotel experience preferred.
- Proficient in the use of various PC applications including MS Office (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook), PeopleSoft, Cognos and SQL.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.Must be 21 years of age or older.
