What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Eqp Parts Washer (3pm-11:30pm shift) position at Wyoming Machinery Company?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*
Clean all designated machines, components, and all other parts in a timely manner.
- Maintain the up keep on the Hotsy Steam Cleaner and High-Pressure Washer.
- Will occasionally require driving a company vehicle to pick up parts off site.
- Must be able to work rotating shift, to include days, evenings and nights.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS*
*
To maintain a clean and safe environment in the steam bay and the outside area of the steam bay and maintain the waste sump.
- To coordinate the workflow through the wash bay from the different work areas in a timely manner as not to disrupt the production or work flow.
- Must work with a positive attitude and with a spirit of cooperation.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY
*
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Understand operating instructions for different machines.
- To read and understand maintenance and service procedures for the cleaning machines and perform the maintenance as needed.
- Must have a good written and oral communication skill.
- Must be able to work in a safe manner as to avoid harm to any personnel or the facility.
- Must have a valid Wyoming driver license.
- Must know basic arithmetic, English, and possess appropriate communication skills.
- Must have experience in the proper cleaning methods of heavy equipment, and have basic knowledge of operating heavy equipment.
- Understand the general concepts of maintaining the equipment they are responsible for.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS*
*
Material and equipment directly used: Hotsy Steam Cleaner, High-Pressure Washer and Acid Machine.
- Walk and/or stand 6-8 hours on concrete floor in a shop that may be very warm or cold.
- Sit 1-2 hours
- 50 lbs. weight lifting restriction.
- Use hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
- Use feet frequently in repetitive movement
- Frequently bend, squat and climb.
- Be willing to be exposed to grease, oil, dirt, and steam (hot & cold)
- Be willing to work overtime as needed.
