FuseFX has an opening in Los Angeles for an Unreal Developer. We are seeking Unreal Engine technical artists looking for an exciting opportunity that takes advantage of their Unreal Engine technical skills on a multifaceted division. FuseFX is growing their Virtual Production, Real-Time VFX, and interactive content division and we are looking for mid and senior level technical artist to joint our global team.
The Unreal Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining the Unreal Pipeline, working independently, and collaborating with the Fuse core pipeline team. This role will develop and maintain tools to be used within UE5, while adapting to the needs of various projects and finding creative solutions to support their evolving needs.
FuseFX is an award-winning Visual Effects Studio providing visual effects services for episodic television, feature films, commercials, virtual productions, and VR. Founded in 2006, the company employs 1200 personnel across ten studio locations and three brands. Our flagship studio is in Los Angeles, CA, with locations in New York City, Vancouver, BC., and Atlanta. Our Montreal, Toronto, and Bogota studios are serviced by FOLKS VFX, who joined FuseFX in 2020. The Adelaide, Australia studio is serviced by Rising Sun Pictures, who joined FuseFX in 2021.
Responsibilities:

Work with Unreal Engine departments heads on the development and support of real-time tools.

Assist in expanding the existing real-time pipeline.

Work with artists to troubleshoot and fix problems

Update and maintain tools, techniques and work flows as required

Qualifications:
-
2 years of Unreal Engine experience as a technical artist.

Advanced experience with Blueprints
-
Experience programming in Python
-
Knowledge of programming in C is a plus but not necessary.

Experience in Unreal Materials, Shotgrid, Maya, and Houdini is a plus.
