Full job description
Duties:
- Operate packaging equipment to package products according to company standards and specifications.
- Monitor packaging process to ensure efficiency and quality control.
- Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and materials used.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve packaging processes.
- Follow FDA regulations and maintain compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
Skills:
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble packaging machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and other automated systems used in packaging operations.
- Proficient in using hand tools for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packaging and labeling of products.
