Quantitative Trader

Job Description:

• We're looking for exceptional junior and senior quantitative traders to join our team.
• You will work with Portfolio Managers to operate and improve our trading strategies as well as research new strategies.
• You'll also work closely with our engineers to implement core features and build new tools.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing new features in trading algorithms
• Back testing and tuning strategy configurations
• Allocating trading capital and ensuring it remains efficiently deployed
• Creating tools to enhance reporting and analyze data
• Working with developers to design and prioritize features
• Making sure our trading engine runs smoothly

Qualifications:

• Experience with an OOP language such as Java or C
• Experience with data analysis in Python
• Familiarity with a Linux terminal and bash scripting
• Basic financial modeling skills
• Strong aptitude for math and problem solving
• Excellent communication
• Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
• Eager to grow and take on more responsibility

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience at a start-up or a company in a growth phase
• Deep understanding of Apache Spark
• Experience working with huge data sets
• Experience working in a low latency environment
• Experience with AWS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,304.00 - $106,843.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
