Job Overview:

Floor Techs may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitors assigned areas and corridors for cups, Spills, paper, and debris.
• Cleans all corners, edges, and baseboards in the assigned areas.
• Dust mop all the hard floor areas, clean behind doors, and move objects in the floor area that are movable.
• Remove all marks/scuffs on the floor.
• Damp-mop floors with the proper assigned cleaning chemical or use a scrubbing machine.
• Utilizes floor machines for project work as assigned.
• Burnishes floors using a high-speed floor machine as directed.
• Scrubs floors and strips floors as needed or assigned.
• May perform "Area Cleaner" job duties.
• May perform "Waste Disposal Technician" job duties.
• Performs related work as required. 

       Job Qualifications:

• Floor Care/ Hotel / Casino experience a plus 
• Related experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Tests required
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent preferred
