POSITION OVERVIEW:
Clearance: Top Secret required.
Description/Duties:
- Manages a team of technicians that conduct technical surveillance and countermeasures inspections to ensure clandestine devices have not been introduced into secure areas of Department of State Domestic Facilities.
- Receives request and assigns tasks to ensure completion of inspection in a timely manner. Oversees and tracks progress of inspections and manages reporting.
- Acts as the TSCM Subject matter expert for domestic facilities and provides advice and assistance on matters concerning physical security, technical counter-surveillance and risk management. Recommends and evaluates new detection equipment to enhance the inspection processes.
- Coordinates findings with the Department of State and intelligence TSCM communities.
- Is responsible for inventory, tracking, and maintaining equipment.
- Carries out security-related matters in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive 702, Security Policy Board Procedural Guides 1, 2, 3 and other Department of State policies.
- Knowledgeable of national security policies, Department of State physical, technical and construction security standards, and Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) procedures for conducting TSCM inspections.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- One of the individuals in this labor category acts as the Branch Contract Lead and supervises the branch’s diverse contract staff.
On September 24, 2021, the U.S. Government’s Safer Federal Workforce Task Force issued “2021 Guidance for Federal Contractors and Subcontractors” mandating that Covered federal contractors, including Xator Corporation, and their employees shall be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
