Job Duties
-Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
-Checking Vital signs and some tests and document patient medical history, medication
-Maintain patient confidentiality
-Prepare and assist with procedures and treatments as necessary
-Administering injections
-Perform an inventory of supplies and equipment, replacing as needed
-Work collaboratively with other employees to achieve specific team goals
-Complete additional administrative duties necessary to run office efficiently
- Perform venipuncture
- Label and properly store collected specimens for laboratory testing
- Follow established laboratory procedures and protocols
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials
- Provide excellent customer service to patients during the collection process
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection
Job Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Minimum of 3 year experience as a medical assistant/Phlebotomist
