We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to align with the Sales Team to sell to the enterprise customers in the region.
You should also be results-driven and help us achieve our business goals by hitting and exceeding quota.
Senior Sales Engineer (PreSales) responsibilities are:
- Assist in building solutions (Internet, Ethernet, SD-Wan, Voice, Managed Wi-Fi, DDoS, Cloud Exchanges)
- Work with Customers/Prospects to design solutions that meet their needs
- Ability to work within Standard Product set and Creative Solutions
- Help identify potential customers and "sell to" needs
- Handling multiple accounts and Sales Personnel seamlessly
- Work to "cost" solutions that are beyond Standard Product/Pricing - to win deals and set budgets for installation
- Work hand in hand with Operations, Engineering and Finance
- Informing clients and team members about new products/services, features, etc.
- Giving and getting feedback to/from customers
- Displaying advanced knowledge of sales and products
- Following the company approval process and using CRM tools
Skills/Qualifications
- Proven experience in the telecommunications field in NY Metro
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong product knowledge
- Public speaking
- Possessing good negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with CRM and MS Office
- Displaying professionalism
- Being target driven and highly motivated
- BA/BSc degree
- This is an Office Based Role with normal flexibility
Physical And Sensory Requirements
The physical and sensory abilities required for this classification include:
- Strength to lift a 50-pound object, without assistance, and items weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance.
- Coordination and equilibrium sufficient to climb a ladder and maintain balance while pulling cable.
- Sight in order to read computer screens and standard computer printouts / may involve extensive VDT exposure; visual color discrimination sufficient to distinguish the color codes of wire and schematic drawings.
- Hearing, speech, sight, and physical dexterity sufficient to function in a typical office environment.
- Coordinated, skillful movements of fingers, hands and arms to operate a computer keyboard; may require hand/eye coordination for semi-skilled movements, such as taking apart casings, installing parts and reconnecting computers.
- Strength and dexterity to crawl, kneel, crouch, or twist to reach/and or work with assigned systems.
- Manual and finger dexterity sufficient to work with hands in close tolerances and to work with extremely small electronic components.
- Strength, mobility and dexterity to use small hand and power tools as necessary and to climb or crawl to install equipment in areas of close tolerance.
