Job responsibilities:
- Remove dirt and debris from vehicles
- Perform sanding, buffing, polishing or retouching vehicles to prepare vehicle surface
- Taping and covering vehicle parts efficiently and with extreme precision that does not require painting
- Prepare vehicles for primer and paint application
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work on vehicles for extended periods of time
- Work alongside the paint team to assist in keeping vehicle on schedule
- Inspect final prep and paint application
Requirements:
-Prior experience working with paint processes
- Prior body shop experience
-Experience with wet sand and buffing
-Ability to meet physical demands of the position including walking, bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods of time
- Able to use hand power tools
-Withstand exposure to fumes and dust
- Strong attention to detail
- Consent to a full background check including driver record
