Therapist

Xenia Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Therapist, you will provide mental health support and guidance to individuals, couples, and families, helping them overcome challenges and enhance their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific goals.
• Provide therapy and counseling sessions to individuals, couples, and families using a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Monitor clients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with professional and ethical guidelines.
• Stay informed about current research and developments in the field of therapy.
• Utilize trauma-informed care practices and experience in crisis intervention (e.g., suicidal assessments and support).
• Knowledge and experience with Play Therapy modalities (e.g., sand tray) is a plus.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Mental Health, or a related field.
• Valid licensure or certification as a Therapist (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, etc.).
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in providing therapy and counseling services.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
