People Lead FTC (PaaS)

We are looking for an experienced People Lead to join our PaaS team on a fixed-term basis from late August until May 2023 to cover parental leave. You will be leading up to two of our cross-functional agile DevOps teams in Platform-as-a-Service. You will be managing engineers across two delivery teams, enabling a culture of professional development, performance and open communication. You will be responsible for supporting your direct reports in becoming awesome Xeros, empowering them to deliver high-quality software to customers, hone their engineering skills, and foster the growth of a world-class engineering culture. You will work alongside other cross functional People, Product, and Engineering leaders to foster the growth of a world-class engineering culture, and to drive initiatives to enable the success of the group as a whole. Your role can be summarised by ‘you drive and support your reports to be successful in their teams, which in turn maximises the team’s contribution to Xero.
