Job Overview
We are looking to hire a talented Assistant IT Manager to join our team. If you're hard-working and dedicated with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
The Assistant IT Manager will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities in an organization. The Assistant IT Manager will report to the IT Manager and assist in launching additional boutiques. The Assistant IT Manager should be used to working with several vendors to complete a project.
The scope of the Assistant IT manager's responsibilities can vary and may require some travel.
Responsibilities for IT Manager
- Lead large IT projects, including but not limited the design and deployment of new IT systems, Networking, Point of Sale (POS) systems, security (camera/access control), app integration and mobile device management (MDM).
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
- Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to boutique locations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Great project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization.
- 5 years of experience working in IT operations
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, mobile device management, and phone systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills must be able to work independently.
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
- Creating rational strategies for upgrading the company’s network software whenever a new update is available
- Excellent attention to detail with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
