As an Ecosystem Strategist at Xerox, you will be a driving creative force for the incorporation of a user-centered approach across a diverse family line of products and services. Looking for an individual interested in being at the center of the information flow in the development of product positioning strategies. The Ecosystem Strategist will be responsible for working directly with Product Planning, Marketing, Product Owners, System Engineering, and Sales to deliver a customer-recognizable ecosystem. A great position for UX Designers, Product Owners, and Technical Program Managers who are interested in advancing their careers in the area of strategic development across a broad technical landscape. 
 
Essential Functions:

Develop detailed feature roadmaps at product and organizational levels –
‘Where are we going and why
Create and map ‘Customer Positioning Thematic Stories’ to roadmap initiatives –
‘How do we communicate our vision to customers’
Capture customer needs as it relates to how solutions ‘Fit’ together –
‘Can customers identify how we can solve their problems
  • Maintain an inventory of product solutions and services
  • Identify business and market trends and translate them into business goals & requirements
  • Communicate new initiatives to internal and external audiences
  • Develop detailed feature abstracts and related documentation to efficiently execute identified initiatives
 
Key Roles:
  • Ability to sell new conceptual ideas to stakeholders to drive innovation
  • Ability to define strategic roadmaps and illustrate a logical progression of improvement
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to analyst and sale teams to achieve a high level of return
  • Ability to highlight similarities and differences between product releases
  • Developing and managing product roadmaps and backlogs
  • Act as a primary interface between customer/marketing world and the technical development world
  • Lead whiteboard sessions in the development of visual engaging materials to identify and communication of product strategies 
  • Collaborating with prospective users to understand and anticipate their needs
  • Ability to find solutions without established standards
  • Ability to negotiate and manage critical conversations with cross functional teams 
  • Strong visual and graphic design skills
  • Conducting user acceptance testing and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements and are integrated with other systems
 
Qualifications: 
  • 2 - 3 years of experience working as a UX Designer, Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or in related fields
  • BA or Master’s Degree illustrating strong visual, written, and oral communication skills
  • Excellent analytic skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent system-level problem-solving and organization skills
  • Understand the system from both a customer and development perspective
  • Experience with Marketing and Sales teams
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Should have the ability to see the ‘Big Picture perspective and be able to look deep enough into a problem without losing focus on the entire job
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of software development tools and project management software
  • Ability to work individually and, more importantly, in a group setting
