The Team You’ll Join
Here at Xevant, we are building a UX program to turn our product portfolio into the gold-standard in healthcare automation software, and we need to build industry-leading user experiences to get us there. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will join a small and growing team of UX designers and will be integrally involved both in understanding and informing our product strategies and in the details of the Product Development process. You will also play a critical role in driving a design-thinking-centered mindset throughout the Product Development organization, helping set best-practices and processes that our teams will adopt. The ideal candidate is someone who can accomplish two main objectives: 1) dive in and modernize our design systems and processes, while also 2) sinking your teeth into the details and executing key product initiatives. This position has a high probability of being converted into a leadership role for the right candidate.
The Impact You’ll Make
Research and Explore — dive deep into the needs and behaviors of our users, both quantitatively and qualitatively, discovering what we can build to make customers’ eyes light up
Design — create frameworks, conceptual diagrams, user flows, wireframes, detailed visual mockups, and clickable prototypes to communicate user needs & solutions, both for individuals features and the product as a whole
Iterate — run iterative design sessions with customers and Product/business stakeholders to align on the best designs for our target users, seeking for valuable, user-delighting learnings to integrate into your designs
Collaborate — collaborate with Product and Engineering to design lean, iterative, and development-ready solutions that can scale for the future, but also understand the technology and business constraints of the now
Your Background, Perspective, and Experience
- 5 years in UX or Software Product Design, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
- 5 years working on/with agile teams using design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- A portfolio of work demonstrating ability to create multi-persona product experiences with both distinct and shared user value across those personas
- Strong experience conducting discovery and user validation interviews
- Experience crafting full end-to-end product and product-portfolio user experiences
- Expert modern visual design acumen (extra points for strengths in data analytics visualization and user workflow optimization)
- Experience in healthcare not required but a huge benefit
