Job Posting for Project Administrator at XL Construction
The role of the Project Administrator is to support the project team with the administrative and project updates on dedicated construction projects. The position always requires professional and courteous conduct, and excellence in customer service delivery. This position is fulltime and may require some travel to various jobsites.
Project Administration responsibilities:
Prepares and understands the prime contract and follows the terms and conditions throughout the entire project.
Obtains insurance certificates as required by client.
Prepares preliminary lien notice to the Owner.
Keeps project files (electronic and hard copy) complete, accurate, and up to date.
Maintains project information in company database.
Follows up on signed subcontract agreements and insurance.
Prepares a schedule of values for purposes of billing.
Works in XL’s Cost Control/Accounting System, Viewpoint, to assist with project cost management.
Pulls permits from the city.
Prepares project files, including Office and Jobsite files for archiving.
Prepares closeout binders for the client. Proactively pursues required documents from trade partners.
Boxes Permit and As-Built drawings and records contents on labels for archiving.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
3 years of experience in a project coordinator role or equivalent construction administrative experience preferred.
