Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations safely and efficiently.
Duties:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks, refrigerated trailers, or tractor-trailers
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle using equipment like hand trucks
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to designated locations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transportation
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of using equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, and other tools for loading/unloading
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical work as required
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules
