Summary
As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our market research and lead generation efforts. You will proactively reach out to potential companies (buyers) and serve as a vital point of contact for these prospects. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact on the company’s growth trajectory. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition: Strategically identify and acquire new customers while expanding our existing network to drive the sales of our products within the US and Canada. Your role will involve creating targeted outreach strategies that resonate with potential buyers.
- Cold Outreach: Execute a high volume of effective cold calls and cold email campaigns to establish initial connections with prospective customers. You will craft personalized messages that effectively communicate our value proposition and address the specific needs of each target.
- Growth and Digital Marketing Campaigns: Oversee campaigns designed to drive growth and opportunity, utilizing channels such as email marketing, LinkedIn InMail, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and LinkedIn ads.
- Communication Development: Draft and refine compelling external communications that engage potential buyers and reflect our brand voice. Your writing should be clear, persuasive, and designed to facilitate further conversation.
- CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of all communications in Xpedient’s CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of interactions, follow-ups, and lead statuses. Measure success rates in generating leads. This data will be crucial for analyzing outreach effectiveness and informing future strategies. Provide regular (weekly, biweekly, monthly) CRM performance metrics and conversion status reporting to sales, marketing, and executive leadership.
- Technology Research and Implementation: Conduct ongoing research to identify and implement innovative technologies and tools that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Business Development team. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge. Utilize tools to determine the best follow-up methods with potential clients to drive conversion and enhance marketing automation reach and impact.
- Market Analysis: Perform comprehensive market analyses to uncover lucrative opportunities for growth. This will involve evaluating market dynamics, identifying emerging trends, and providing actionable insights to inform our strategic direction.
- Collaboration with Lead Generation Partners: Work closely with our lead generation partners to align on the overall growth marketing and demand generation strategy, ensuring the acquisition of qualified leads and an increased overall close rate.
- Networking and Relationship Building: Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build relationships with potential clients and industry influencers. Your ability to forge connections will be instrumental in expanding our reach and visibility.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales and/or lead generation, with a proven track record of successfully acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth is a plus.
- Experience with lead generation techniques and methodologies, including familiarity with CRM systems and lead tracking tools is a plus.
- Experience running successful outbound campaigns using LinkedIn InMail, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound email tools is a plus.
- A proactive mindset characterized by strong initiative, high motivation, professionalism, and reliability. You should be able to take ownership of your responsibilities and deliver results consistently.
- Flexibility, adaptability and a proactive approach are essentials.
- Bonus: An established network within the 3PL, Labor, Warehousing, and Transportation sectors will provide a significant advantage and enhance our competitive positioning in these markets.
