XoLogistic, a subsidiary of IndusPAD International is a 3rd party logistics company on the Methuen/Lawrence line. IndusPAD Industrial Innovation Hub is a 600,000 SQFT facility in which XoLogistic operates 250,000 SQFT servicing over 20 different clients. XoLogistic has seen tremendous growth over the last year and we are looking to capitalize on that!
We're looking for a results-oriented and driven Supervisor to lead our Warehouse operations. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience loading, unloading and storing materials, operating power equipment, as well as creating detailed, accurate reports to ensure all deadlines are met. The successful candidate for this position will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to develop innovative solutions to any problems that may arise leading the team to new heights on the floor. Hours are generally Monday-Friday 0630AM to 0430PM, hours may be longer based on business demands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Be a positive representative of XoLogistic at all times, be dependable, accountable and a positive member of the IndusPAD International/XoLogistic team.
- Receives/signs for deliveries ensuring that all deliveries reflect the bill of lading and all shipping paperwork. Ensure that counts are accurate and that all damages have been noted on the paperwork and signed off on by themselves or someone of greater authority and the driver and documentation makes its way back to the shipping & receiving office.
- Organizes and stocks freight throughout the warehouse, providing direction and feedback to associates.
- Operates warehouse power equipment needed to transport items around the Warehouse and implores best practices while maintaining safety initiatives, encouraging others to do the same. Forklift Certified Class 1, 2 & 3.
- Assists warehouse team, customer service department and members of senior leadership in addressing shipping and receiving issues.
- Keeps the warehouse organized and clean.
- Continuously updates shipping & receiving office on the status of inventory, shipments, and deliveries.
- Leads special projects assigned by leaders within the organization, and demonstrates ability to see special projects to the end.
- Leverages his/her knowledge of warehousing and equipment onto others.
- Addresses and resolves any shipment or delivery errors in conjunction with leadership.
- Photographs all damage and attached said photos to the shipping paperwork.
- Leads in new ways to store and ship products.
- Adds value to the ongoing development of best practices in all areas of the 3PL warehouse, and leverages such knowledge among peers.
- Take inventory of all supplies, and get with appropriate parties to reorder materials as necessary.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possesses physical strength necessary to lift heavy boxes and crates around the warehouse.
- Can maintain the energy level required for long hours in a typical warehouse environment.
- Superior knowledge in the area of operating equipment and ability to leverage best practices when loading, unloading and storing products.
- Ability to work extended and off hours as required and dictated by customer/client needs.
- Works well independently and thrives in a team atmosphere, where we work together collaboratively. Accepts constructive feedback and direction members of senior management.
- Leads in effective communication skills, which are essential to receiving/providing instructions. Not afraid to ask questions. Speaks up constructively and consistently when he/she perceives there to be an issue.
- Thorough knowledge of sort and seg operations to fulfill and complete orders for clients/customers.
- Ability to act responsible and respectful and provide liaison services to clients/customers.
- Pays close attention to detail, a skill essential in identifying order discrepancies and product deficiencies.
- Leads floor operation and demonstrates good care of warehouse power equipment and other equipment and tools of the trade.
- Must be able to multitask and work efficiently.
- Demonstrates time management skills.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED (Required).
- 4 Years general warehouse experience (Required).
- Class 1, 2 & 3 Power Equipment Certification (Required).
- Experience with the operation of Warehouse Management Software (WMS) (Required).
- Power Equipment Training Certification (Preferred)
- Fluent in English & Spanish (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
