Xometry is continuing to grow, and our sales department is looking for additional leadership. This position will be responsible for staffing and directing a sales team while providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum growth in line with company goals, vision, and values.
You will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned segment. Additionally, you will assist in expanding the customer base in the assigned segment through increase in transactional velocity and accomplishment of long-term strategic contracts.
Main Duties of this Position
● Responsible for the performance and development of the Account Executives in the Emerging Enterprise Segment:
● Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effectively performing land and expanding selling.in assigned Emerging Enterprise accounts.
● Conducts one-on-one review with all Emerging Account Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Executives sales and activity performance.
● Assist Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations and create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.
● Recruit, interview, and manage a pipeline of candidates
● Ensure that all Account Executives in your team meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.
● Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
● Conduct regular coaching and counseling with Account Executives to build motivation and selling skills.
● Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
● Ensure timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all quotations inbound from your assigned segment.
● Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
● Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
● Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
Skills & Experience:
● 5-7 years of experience in sales management with proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
● 2-3 years of experience in sales management of enterprise or emerging enterprise where cycles are multi-stakeholder, multi-year, multi-million-dollar contract value opportunities
● Experience with selling contract manufacturing or other supply chain solutions related to custom manufacturing.
● Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
● Willingness to travel
