We have a diverse customer base, ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies and can make anything from a single prototype to millions of parts. The Principal Product Management position is a strategic leader on Xometry’s product management team and is responsible for one or more of Xometry’s critical products. This person owns the overall product strategy and vision for their product, develops and maintains a squad-specific strategy/vision, and holds squad members accountable for outcomes. This person is the primary catalyst to get everyone rowing in the right direction, and helping the squad succeed.   What You’ll Do: ●      Translate a deep understanding customer & business need into a compelling product vision and strategy ●      Lead large, complex, cross-squad and cross-team projects to deliver on your product strategy, with a singular focus on driving business results ●      Build collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership ●      Practice outcome-oriented/KPI-driven product management: Define product metrics that lead to business goals and report on the outcomes of your efforts, and incorporate customer feedback and product analytics to iterate to success ●      Contribute to other teams’ successes by leading cross-team processes that help scale company performance and mentoring other squads and teams ●      Contribute to the product management team by mentoring junior PMs and helping improve Xometry’s Product team What You’ll Need: ●      10 years of product management or similar experience in a software development environment ●      Track record of successfully guiding digital products through the product lifecycle from conception to launch, then evaluation ●      Startup experience desired: small team / big picture ●      Mission-driven, positive attitude, and ability to motivate others ●      Be a team player, upbeat, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment ●      Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming business requirements into a successful product strategy ●      Experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success ●      Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects with various engineering teams - work prioritization, planning and task delegation   If this job isn’t for you but you have a friend who may be a perfect fit - share this job with them!
