Join us as we inspire the next generation of problem solvers and builders.
The Opportunity. Ad Astra School in Bastrop, Texas, is seeking an assistant preschool teacher (ages 3 - 6) to begin in July 2024.
Through your efforts, in tandem with a lead teacher and in close partnership with the rest of the school team, children will fulfill their developmental potential working with multisensorial materials to help them learn to think critically and become well-rounded global citizens. As a member of the school’s founding team, you will have the additional privilege of helping to create its environments and develop this new community into one of the world’s finest.
Nestled on the banks of the Colorado River, Bastrop is a quintessential Texas town surrounded by rolling hills, steeped in history, and brimming with hospitality. The city of Austin is a short drive away, giving Bastrop’s 10,000 residents the best of both worlds – big-city amenities and small-town charm. Bastrop is quickly becoming the home of a number of leading-edge tech companies including The Boring Company, Neuralink, SpaceX, and Tesla.
About Ad Astra. Ad Astra, a non-profit educational institution, is partnering with Xplor Education to form an innovative school to benefit the local community. While their parents support the breakthroughs that expand the realm of human possibility, their children will grow into the next generation of innovators.
With both Primary and Lower Elementary environments, Ad Astra (which means “to the stars”) will be located on a former horse ranch on some-forty acres of Texas plain.
