About Us: XSUNT is a small leading technology company that specializes in data science and custom applications. We are looking for a System Admin/AWS Architect to join our dynamic team. As an AWS Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance AWS infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand their business requirements and objectives.
2. Design and architect AWS solutions that meet the technical and business needs of clients.
3. Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
4. Implement best practices for cloud security, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
5. Provide guidance and recommendations on AWS services, cost optimization, and performance optimization.
6. Create and maintain documentation for AWS architecture and infrastructure.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve AWS-related issues.
8. Stay up to date with AWS services, best practices, and industry trends.
9. Assist in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.
10.Maintain and manage Active Directory, user accounts, group policies, and domain controllers.
11.Monitor and manage the performance of databases, ensuring data availability and integrity.
12.Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions, including regular testing.
13.Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure, configure, and manage hardware and software.
14.Perform capacity planning to ensure system scalability and performance optimization.
15.Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential application within the organization.
16.Support the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and guidelines.
17.Assist in the evaluation and implementation of cybersecurity measures, including intrusion detection and prevention systems.
18.Provide on-call support for critical systems and network issues outside of regular working hours when necessary.
19.Experience with network protocols, security, and firewall management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is a plus.
3. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions.
4. Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, and others.
5. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
8. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
9. Proficiency in database management and administration, including SQL.
10.Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions and procedures.
11.Capacity planning and performance tuning expertise.
12.Familiarity with emerging technologies and the ability to assess their relevance to the organization.
13.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including intrusion detection and prevention systems.
14.Familiarity with IT policy development and implementation.
