Xtreme Manufacturing in Henderson, Nevada, is seeking candidates for our Bill of Material Administrator (PDM) position.
Job Summary:
The Administrator will create bill of materials, control the engineering change request (ECR) process including revision changes, conduct time and product flow studies to ensure the Bill of material structures are correct. Will also make changes and correction to BOM and raw material description to best fit the manufacturing and process improvement needs.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Create Bill of Materials for new production parts and associated information.
- Update existing Bill of Materials with data, time, and performance to correctly evaluate the cost associated with in manufacturing parts and weldments.
- Control of all ECR, including revision changes.
- Perform time and product flow studies to identify Errors or correction needed in the BOM for improvement of the standards.
- Perform observation and analysis of work procedures / process to determine the time requirements is correct in each work center of the bill of material.
- Analyze data and specifications to establish reasonable time and production standards.
- Assist in the continuous improvement process around BOM structures.
- Perform all phases of the production process using industrial engineering principles and best practices that match the BOM structure creations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including work instructions for tooling fixtures and other process.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- 2-3 years of experience in metal manufacturing or a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field.
- MS Excel knowledge, able to create and update spreadsheet files.
- The initiative to go out and learn the current process to aid in the building of the BOM structures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to remain professional and tactful in situations involving staff.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to identify the most efficient method of executing a task.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Notes:
- Pay rate will be determined by experience and background in heavy metal manufacturing.
- Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm.
