Summary/Objective
The Groundsman supports the crew by performing from the ground. The Groundsman observes all safety rules to guarantee a clean and safe work zone.

- Define staging areas.
- Setting up and breaking down road signs in visible location as required.
- Prepare and feeding brush into wood chipper.
- Loading and unloading trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris.
- Using gasoline powered equipment.
- Operating various trucks and equipment.
- Tying knots, rope breaks, and speed lines according to industry standard.
- Safeguard employees and public from hazards in and around the work area.
- Able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies.
