Supervisor - Prevention Program

Yamhill County has one regular full-time position for a Prevention Program Supervisor. As the Prevention Programs Supervisor, you will support and oversee the health prevention and promotion staff who focus on chronic disease prevention, violence and injury prevention, public health communications, and community health equity. You will also be responsible for overseeing division-level quality improvement and accreditation efforts.

The Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Five years of relevant experience with progressive responsibilities in program administration or supervision.
    • Graduate level course work and training may be substituted for up to two years’ experience.

  • The 10 Essential Public Health Services.
  • Principles of health prevention/promotion and health communication.
  • Supervisory and management principles and practices.
  • Community development models, policies, and strategies.
  • Community and partner agencies and resources relevant to the program.
