What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Job Developer position at YAP?
- This position is not remote, work-from-home position and is not entirely office-based. Working in the field (i.e. community), networking with business and clients is 50-80% of the job. Office space is provided.
- Knowledge of WIOA Title 1 services (preferred, not required)
- Coordinate with the small and large business to determine open positions for youth
- Assist young, adult clients through career counseling with their expectations for employment including responsibilities, salary requirements, and career goals
- Assist young, adult clients in developing a resume and conduct mock interviews to help them prepare for workforce
- Provide feedback to the rejected candidates and help them upgrade their qualifications and correct their mistakes
- Extend special guidance to disabled, young, adult clients and ensure they are provided with an appropriate work environment -
- Coordinate employment agreement amongst worksite and young, adult client accepting position
-Navigate through multiple, electronic database (training provided)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
