What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Laborer position at Yard Works, LLC?
We are looking for motivated, hardworking Landscape Laborers to join our company.
As a Landscape Professional, you will work alongside other crew members and receive direction from a Crew Leader.
- Assist with landscape construction projects, including irrigation systems, building retaining walls, installing plants, trees and general maintenance.
- Assist with tree care tasks, such as pruning and removing dead branches, chipping and hauling. Operate hand tools and larger equipment to include Bobcat, Backhoe, Mini X.
- Keep trucks and equipment clean and in working order.
Skills
- Previous experience in landscape construction, irrigation and maintenance preferred. Knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant maintenance.
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in landscaping to include Bobcat, Backhoe and MiniX, weed eaters and blowers.
- Ability to irrigate plants effectively and efficiently. Basic understanding of tree care practices, including pruning and removal.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and digging. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
