Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the movement of goods and materials, ensuring efficient and timely delivery to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the shipment process from start to finish, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation
- Coordinating with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitoring inventory levels and optimizing warehouse space utilization
- Resolving any issues or delays in transportation or delivery
- Maintaining accurate records of shipments and inventory
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics processes
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
