Yellowstone Club’s Food & Beverage (F&B) department is currently seeking candidates for Food Runner. The F&B department is offering a $1000.00 signing bonus. $250 will be paid out after 30 days and $750 at the end of the season. On average Food Runners make $17.50-$19.00 per hour with service charges.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support the Servers by aiding in delivering food to Members and guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner
- Know the ingredient details of every dish on the menu
- Deliver food in an efficient manner
- Communicate clearly with the front of house and kitchen staff
- Assist in serving orders to Members and guests
- Know the sequence of service and follow it each time when approaching a table
- Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and presentation
- Answer questions pertaining to the restaurant menus
- Work in collaboration with other teammates to meet Member and guest expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized dining area and work station
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned by leadership
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of food runner experience in a fine dining restaurant, luxury resort, or private club setting
- Able to communicate effectively and speak/write English clearly/legibly
- Occasionally required to talk and/or hear
- Frequently lift up to 30 pounds
- Use hands/fingers to handle/lift items
- Constantly required to stand/walk/climb or balance
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands/arms
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must pass pre-employment background check, paid for by the employer, which is carried out equally among U.S. workers and H-2B workers.
The position offered is a seasonal, full-time position located in Big Sky, MT.
