Art Director

The Art Director works closely with colleagues on the Creative, Strategy and Account Management teams to generate and execute concepts for a variety media on time, on brief and on budget. This includes television, print, outdoor, web sites, social media, online content, and other digital marketing initiatives. The art director is expected to actively contribute to the development of original solutions, create polished final deliverables and have a comfort level communicating with clients.

Responsibilities

• Contribute meaningfully visual solutions and conceptualization of advertising and content ideas
• Execute assignments that are on brand, on voice, and on strategy across all media channels
• Design and manage the overall look and feel of integrated campaigns
• Manage workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and delivery
• Produce smart and sound work within guidelines, deadlines, and budget
• Work collaboratively with a copywriter, creative partners, and other members of core departments
• Work with photographers, animators, editors, illustrators, and filmmakers to produce final work
• Work with Creative Director and Account Management to ensure that the client’s objectives are being met

Required

• Degree in Visual Communications
• Must have a strong portfolio of omni-channel work
• 1 years of agency or related experience, or a graduate of a portfolio/finishing school
• Must demonstrate the ability to design for a variety of formats
• Must have strong presentation skills
• Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be proficient with current InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Ability to multi-task and navigate assignments with a variety of complexity
• Ability to think strategically about assignments, the client, and the client’s priorities
