Yellowstone Club’s Outdoor Pursuits department is currently seeking candidates for Guide positions for the upcoming Summer season! Our Summer employment dates are May-September.
Is being outdoors your passion? Do you enjoy teaching, coaching, and enriching the lives of others? If so, becoming a Guide may just be the perfect position for you. Being a Guide is a rewarding career that allows you to work outside while sharing your love for the area and the outdoor pursuit’s amenities such as: hiking trails, UTV trails, challenge course, 3D archery course, and the list goes on. We are currently seeking adventurer, sports enthusiasts, and outgoing individuals to join the Outdoor Pursuits department for our 2023 summer season.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead Members, guests, and prospects on hikes, archery, mountain biking, challenge course, UTV, climbing, and 5 stand shooting expeditions.
- Promotes safety amongst all during lessons/trips
- Share passion for the outdoors
- Operate company vehicles when necessary, including UTVs
- Belay and operate challenge course
- Provide excellent customer service
- Work with a variety of personalities and need to make clients feel safe and comfortable, while delivering information in an understandable manner with respect to individual learning preferences
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
- Creditable experience in teaching and/or outdoor guiding
- Valid certification in CPR and First Aid
- Valid Driver’s License
- Driving record that meets company driving insurance requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively and individually
