What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at YesCare?
Experience & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Holds a current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment and is a resident of that state.
- Thorough knowledge of all applicable State/Federal laws, rules and regulations.
- Working knowledge of personnel administration, physician and nursing consultations and interdepartmental relationships.
A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Responsibilities
Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Pharmacist with YesCare.
- Enter orders in the computer system (Frameworks) and perform quality assurance (QA) function on these orders.
- Recognizes possible synergistic, antagonistic or cumulative effects of drugs.
- Provide pharmaceutical knowledge to staff about medications and clients.
- Answers the phone, thus providing pharmaceutical information and answering medication order questions.
- Responsible for quality assurance (QA) on orders entered by Pharmacy Technicians.
